The first stop on my upcoming journey will be Thailand. The 3 things that I’m most looking forward to (in no particular order) are:
1. Scuba Diving

I love scuba diving. The atmosphere and the vast endlessness of the blue ocean can’t be described in pictures, videos or words. You have to experience it. If you’re reading this and have never dived before, I’d highly recommend it.
In April I’ll be on a liveaboard for four days diving near Similan Islands, Andaman Sea. 4 Full days to just relax and dive. It’s gonna be awesome
.
2. Full Moon Party at Ko Phangan

On April 29th, I’ll be on Ko Phangan and attend its infamous Full Moon Party. Once a month at full moon thousands of people gather at beach on Ko Phangan and party like there’s no tomorrow.
3. Yasothon Rocket Festival

Rural villages in Laos and North Thailand celebrate the beginning of the annual rainy season with rocket festivals. Teams of men build huge rockets out of bamboo and black powder (the largest rockets are 9 meters long and have 120kg black powder on board). The team whose rocket flies the highest wins. If a rocket explodes at start, its team has to bath in a puddle of mud. I’ll be from May 7th to May 9th in Yasothon to celebrate rocket festival.
I am going to write about those 3 highlights and many other things in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned and be sure to subscribe to my blog to not miss any posts.

Pretty solid list. If your going to be on the East coast and have some extra time, I recommend going to Koh Phayam. It’s possibly the nicest island in Thailand. On the Andaman Sea and just near the border to Burma.
Thanks for your suggestion. I’ll try to check it out.
Backpackers paradise, that’s what they call Thailand. Enjoy!
